Before you turn in your hours read thru these stipulations to be sure you get credit for your work.
- Plays, concerts, yearbook, Pony Club, dancing and other school club and performance activities are NOT eligible as volunteer hours.
- Students must complete a minimum of 80 volunteer hours and can start in 8th grade through 12 grade.
- Each day or event must be logged seperately and signed by the adult (not your parent) who supervised the activity.
- Have you checked your math in totaling your volunteer hours?
- Is all the information legible and clear?
- Are all phone numbers clear and correct on the volunteer log sheet?
- Has all the sevice on the Volunteer Log Sheet taken place in this service year? (think June-June as a school year)
- Did all the volunteer work take place on San Juan Island?
- No more than 8 Hours credit is allowed within any 24 hour period.
- Have you volunteered for at least 3 different organizations?
- Late or incomplete forms will NOT be accepted.
- Did you assist on at least one DSF fundraising activity and log at least 3 hours of DSF fundraising support?
